Struggling furniture store ScS has been purchased by Sun Capital in a move that is set to save 1600 jobs in the retail sector. The news demonstrates more optimism for employees that work for the company. The company has been saved from administration by the US private equity company. The chief executive for ScS David Knight commended the good news saying it was "good news for staff, suppliers and customers" and he stated that he was looking forward to pressing forward with the new owners. He asserted that there was "no indication" that there would be any job losses.
