Financial pressures have forced many people into opting to take their holidays in the UK instead of travelling abroad a recent article in the Times has stated. The trends suggest that just under a fifth of people will opt out of taking expensive trips abroad in favour of domestic holiday destinations. Whilst the news is gloomy for companies that provide overseas holidays the news is optimistic for those that provide holiday services in the UK. If people are to spend their money in the UK the trends could see a marginal increase in the number of jobs in the travel and service industry this summer.
