| Our client, a growing and dynamic housing association based in the Edinburgh area, is currently seeking a competent housing administrator to join their close knit team. THE ROLE: You will be tasked with organising all incoming and outgoing mail, taking telephone calls from service users and handling their housing problems, liaising with management upon their administrative needs (writing letters, policy documents, and proof reading documents) and handling all visitors into the office. There will also be a substantial amount of data input of financial information and service user details. THE EXPERIENCE: As a result of the duties within this role, you will be required to have superb office IT skills, will have around 1 year of office experience and shall be confident when liaising with all levels of service user (i.e. elderly, disabled and with mental health issues). To be successful within this role you will also be enthusiastic and empathetic, will be aware of related housing issues which commonly occur, and shall be immediately available. You MUST have public sector and/or Housing Association experience to be considered. This assignment is an ongoing and long-term temp opportunity (i.e. upwards of 3 months with the potential to turn permanent) and will allow an insight into how professional housing associations operate on a daily basis.
