| On behalf of our client, one of Northern Ireland's best know Media and PR companies, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a PR Executive. Due to our clients continuous growth and development, this role has arisen and presents the ideal candidate a unique chance to develop and progress within this company. THE ROLE * to lead, co-ordinate and monitor public relations and event management activities in line with the client strategies, time scales and budget * Contribute to and develop client PR strategies, campaigns and editorial angles * Identify Public Relations Opportunities locally and nationally * Identify editorial angles and research, prepare, distribute and follow up press releases - ensuring results * Develop appropriate client specific media distribution lists * To develop and maintain strong positive relations with key media personnel * Handle media enquiries when appropriate and ensure protocol is maintained * Briefing photographers and coordinating photo shoots, ensuring placement * Research and draft proposals/ projects and plan client budgets * Evaluation of press clippings and compiling tables and graphs to highlight results gained * Evaluate and advise clients on appropriate sponsorship, ensuring relevant publicity is obtained and a post event analysis of effectiveness is carried out * Develop competition themes, draft editorial and place within select media * Undertake research duties, collate graphics and photographs, provide a proof reading service and implement in copy-writing duties specific to the production of clients promotional materials * Co-ordinate event management activities for award ceremonies, conferences, VIP visits as well as surrounding PR activity including preparation of media briefing notes, drafting scripts and speeches and also coordinating media and photography * Attending Client meetings and drafting contact reports within agreed timelines * Drafting client update reports, tender documents and putting together presentations * Assist in drafting award entries * Provide administrative support as required |

| Skills: | THE PERSON * Relevant qualification in PR, Communications, Marketing, Event Management (CIPR, CAM, CAP desirable) * 18 months PR experience within a fast paced environment * Customer Focused individual with a proven track record of success * Driven and Creative individual * Results focused * Expert knowledge of Microsoft Applications - Word, Outlook, Excel and Power point * Team Player with a proven ability to develop effective working relationships * Self Motivated individual who has the ability to operate without direct supervision * Pro active to use their own initiative * Ability to work to tight deadlines * Ability to multi task |
