| Our client, a dynamic and friendly Perth based Housing Association situated at the heart of the city, is currently seeking a Maintenance Officer to assist in the running of their head office function. THE ROLE: You will be tasked with overseeing the workloads of the small maintenance office-based team alongside duties which allow you access to various properties across the Perth and Kinross area. Carrying out pre and post repair inspections, liaising with contractors on site, undertaking financial management of the maintenance budget, and working with the allocations and voids team will be the key duties within this role. THE EXPERIENCE: To be successful in application you will have to have previously been a Maintenance Officer or an On-Site Facilities Manager and shall possess particular skills in contractor liaison and daily task prioritisation. You will be dedicated and driven to succeed, and shall always seek the best and most efficient result for tenant repairs. You must also have a driving licence and preferably a car, will ideally posses a relevant maintenance and/or management qualification, while you will be available to begin work at short notice (i.e. within a week). This is a minimum of a 3 month contract, with the potential to turn into a long-term permanent career (depending upon your desires and skills).
