| Qualified accountant with internal audit experience required to work for a retail client. Previous experience of conducting audits in a retail or FMCG company would be beneficial. This well known retailer with international connections requires an additional auditor due to an internal relocation. Some travel, although not extensive, is required for this role. You will be responsible for - •Organising and performing reviews of financial and operational practices and procedures to assess whether the business risks are adequately and effectively controlled. •Preparing and clear reports for line management up to Main Board level and gain agreement to the identified risks and recommendations for addressing them. •Performing ongoing monitoring of agreed actions to ensure they are completed effectively and on time. •Undertake investigations and special projects as required, including attendance at a variety of working parties to give advice on risks and controls. •Own Internal Audit's relationship with a key part of the business to further understand the business within the Audit team and ensure issues are identified as they arise.
