| An urgent opportunity exists for a Systems Accountant to complete an initial 6-month contract with a well-known Public Sector organisation in central Edinburgh. Joining an existing dynamic team, the client is seeking an individual who is motivated and thrives in a challenging and busy environment. Skills required: •Significant post CCAB qualification experience in a finance with systems and project management experience •Experience of project managing and delivering to several simultaneous work streams •Technical experience of financial systems and architecture within a financial setting •Strong conceptual and analytical skills and ability to synthesise complex technical data from diverse sources. •Highly developed IT skills including the use of spreadsheets with the use of formulae, pivot tables v- look up, word processing, slide presentation tools and systems to manage project data. •Well developed presentation skills, including the ability to present highly complicated information in a format suitable for different target audiences and respond to challenge from senior business • Excellent communicator with the ability to convey the aims and objectives of the Project in all forms to all levels of the organisation, and to support the project's execution This fantastic role offers the opportunity to go permanent thus developing your career within a reputable organisation.
