| We are currently looking to recruit for an Assistant Financial Accountant on a 11month maternity contract based just outside the City Centre. The principle responsibilities of the department include: •Perform monthly Balance sheet reconciliations, including Bank, Work in Progress, intercompany, fixed asset, rent, rates and payroll. •Review Branch overheads to ensure that they are complete and accurate, making any necessary accruals and prepayments. •Investigate all outstanding issues such as misposted items to ensure that they are cleared on a timely basis and where necessary Liaise with branches and other departments. •Upload Payroll Data files into the JDE Mainframe Accounting System. •Liaise with branches to resolve issues on Intercompany Supplier Invoices. •Preparation and communication of intercompany recharges to Tyco entities around the world, including the production of invoices. •Ensure all reconciliations comply with the requirements of Sarbanes Oxley. The Successful candidate must have a good understanding of double entry with excellent Excel skills. Badenoch & Clark is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy. |
