| HOMELESS ASSESSMENT OFFICER required for large client in the Edinburgh Lothian's area for an ongoing period. Prospective applicants must have a demonstrable history of working within Homelessness as well as direct experience of presentation assessment preferable within a local authority background. You will be required to monitor the needs of clients presenting themselves as Homeless. Performing the following duties potential applicants must have most, if not all of the relevant experience: •Carrying out complex homeless assessments, •Internal liaison with temp accommodation and casework teams, •Liaising with external bodies such as Central Government, charitable bodies and other housing associations in order to ascertain suitability and potential housing. A first-rate team and excellent training and support await you. You must be able to provide your own transport (work mileage can be claimed) and have an up-to-date Disclosure Scotland check.
