| An opportunity exists for a qualified accountant with process documentation experience to join a system & strategy team at an Edinburgh based financial institution. Key Requirements of role The Hyperion Consolidation System team sits within the system & strategy division and is recruiting for a System Accountant with working knowledge of foreign currency. The System Accountant role is responsible for looking after the Support and Development of the Hyperion Application which is the banks Statutory and Regulatory Application used to publish Annual results externally to reporting bodies. The successful candidate will be a Systems Accountant from a Financial Services background. They must have an excellent financial understanding and experience of translating this knowledge into systems requirements. Experience of using and administering the Hyperion Enterprise or Hyperion Consolidation system is desirable. Candidates will require more in depth knowledge of this system than data feeds. Key Requirements of the role •An accountancy qualification and work experience •A financial services background •Expert in consolidation, ideally using Hyperion •Process documentation in preparation for a handover Technical knowledge •HCS (Hyperion Consolidation System) •Foreign currency experience The systems accountant will join a team of 4 accountants and there is a possibility of further opportunity within the system & strategy division.
