| Our Client, a large Housing Association based in Edinburgh, is currently seeking an experienced Housing Officer to join their large Head Office in South Edinburgh team for 3 months. The Role: You will be responsible for providing a customer focused property management service to a patch of approximately 200 properties, handling all forms of request, dealing with issues on rent arrears, allocations, leasing intricacies, void properties, maintenance and anti-social behaviour problems. You will work largely alone, reporting to a Senior Housing Manager along with a substantial amount of hands-on client interaction. The Experience: To be successful in application you will have to be personally organised, adaptable in a range of client-facing situations, and will have a clear understanding of social and mid rent housing. In terms of your CV you must be able to demonstrate the skills of a housing officer – letting properties, dealing with void turnaround, marketing and accompanying viewings. Although not substantial the patch is across Edinburgh so time management is also a key. For this reason you must have a driving licence and a sound knowledge of standard office IT systems. The ability to demonstrate how well you work alone and largely unsupervised is also important. This is a superb opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge within a friendly and dynamic team.
