| An Edinburgh based Housing Association is looking for an experience Housing Assistant to join their team – either working from their West Lothian or their Edinburgh offices, or both (preferably you will have your own transport). Your role will be varied but ideally you will have had experience of the following: •Managing tenant enquiries •Handling rents issues •An understanding of property management (letting properties, the void process, tenancy sign-ups). •High volume phone, IT and face to face administration. • Candidates will ideally have worked for a property or maintenance firm and perhaps be looking for a career in the social housing industry, an industry which rewards consistency and pride in your work. The post is initially to cover the summer months but due to the nature of the work, strong temp employees have been retained in the past based on performance. This is not a basic admin post, hence the salary level. To that end, if you have not worked in the property or maintenance industries, delivering services to tenants or contractors, for a period of 12 months or more, in your recent career history, you will probably not be shortlisted.
