Responsibilities • Strategic purchasing with a national/local perspective • Delivering measurable improvements in managed processes • Developing and delivering Purchasing and Supply Chain strategies and partnerships with proven negotiating skills • Delivering cross functional improvement projects and operational policies and procedures • Cost evaluation and reduction • Supplier liaison and initial sample inspection reports • Inventory management and value assessments • Support of production facilities • Identify and implement low cost alternatives • Identify and manage price reductions and increases • Supplier performance reviews and evaluations • Support Business KPI's • Supplier comparison, outsourcing, make or buy • Contracts development and monitoring This is a key management role for an individual who seeks to make a difference and to contribute within a progressive organisation.
