| My Client, a large electronics manufacturer, are seeking a materials and Decorations Specialist to work within their Concept and Technology Team, based in Farnborough, Hampshire. Your responsibilities will include; developing attractive and creative decoration solutions including the use of pains, printings, plating and new special materials for the company's products, taking responsibility for the technologies from initial design phase, though to final implementation, gathering requirements, to translate them into technical specifications and manage their development, liaising with suppliers to meet schedule. The role will involve travel throughout the EU and Asia to meet suppliers on a regular basis. Applicants will hold a degree within material science, chemistry or mechanical engineering, with significant post-graduation experience working with a range of materials, and an understanding of modern production processes. Personal attributes to include, excellent communication skills, good project management skills and a results-driven approach to work.
