| JOB TITLE: Transport Manager - Class 1 SALARY: 28-35k THE COMPANY: Our client are a well known scaffolding company running a fleet of 6 Class 1 vehicles working with a number of government agencies, rail operators and housing associations. THE ROLE: This position is mainly office based, managing the logistics side of the business, and scheduling the workloads of the drivers and scaffolders. Additionally you will be expected to drive vehicles yourself up to 20% of the time to cover as neccessary. THE CANDIDATE: To be suitable for this position you must have previous experience as a Transport Manager in a similar role, ideally for another scaffolding company, or at least in a related physical activity industry. You must be a Class 1 C+E driver, and will ideally have worked your way up the career ladder to transport manager level after working as a driver in the past.
