Job Vacancy Senior Estimator with FRS Recruitment

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Estimator who wishes to work with one of the largest contractors in Europe.

The successful candidate must have at least 4-5 years estimating experience preferably in a heavy civils projects.

Our client is a leading building and civil engineering contractor and is currently seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join it's team as a Senior Estimator.  You will be suitably qualified coupled with relevant professional qualification.

The ideal candidate will have experience working for a main contractor with a proven track record in the tendering and financial management aspect of the business.

Responsibilities will include: 

• Preparing and collating tenders by a given deadline based on the scope of work, plans, specification, BOQ's, Schedules and inspections.
• An excellent working knowledge of the Irish market
• Proficiency in use of estimating software packages
• Predominantly experienced in Heavy Civil Projects.
• Must have the ability to work to tight schedules.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for this position
