| This expanding financial institution requires a dedicated candidate to work in their Financial Control area within an analyst position. The successful candidate will ensure internal control and monitoring functions are maintained, ensuring compliance with internal reporting and control requirements. The analyst will support consolidation and process coordination across the team, delivering reporting outputs to key Business Areas. A breakdown of the role responsibilities includes: Producing monthly and forecast reporting on Operations costs and conducting a first level review of outputs. Ensuring provision of quality monthly MI reports to tight deadlines. Substantiating the Operations balance sheet and providing MI to Decision Support on a monthly basis. Be involved in any change controls of budget into and out of Operations Conduct ad hoc analysis and development projects on behalf of Operations, including activity migration work Build and maintain key relationships with customers. Undertake other duties as required, and work as part of the wider team to ensure all SSF Operations and SSF Manufacturing deliverables are met. To be the successful applicant you will have: Sound accounting knowledge. Part qualified either through formal education or experience. Knowledge of INEA/BOP, Walker, Business Objects, Hyperion & UKBMIS are all an advantage Ability to build and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with key customers and the team Practical experience of working in a financial environment Record of meeting tight deadlines and delivering high quality output Proactive approach to continuously improving tasks and procedures The role holder should be a ‘self starter', comfortable in instigating communications and business relationships and looking to gain experience at managing a demanding and varied workload.
