| O&B Recruitment part of the O'Neill & Brennan Group are currently hiring for a Project Manager for their client based in Shannon. This role is primarily responsible for process improvement & to lead all other projects in their Collections department. Responsibilities: •Identify risk to delinquency and recommend process improvements and or areas of intensified focus to ensure consistency in processes and measures across collections •Drive to root causes of key findings and effectively. •Establish and manage project plans, expense budgets, develop goals, estimates, schedules, testing strategies and cost/benefit analysis in support Collections projects •Acts as primary contact/owner for the duration of each assigned projects: handles correspondence; provides periodic updates; ensures customer satisfaction. •Assessment of project impacts/risks for the business, establish and clarify the business requirement •Recommendation of appropriate financial, technical, business intelligence and process solutions to meet the goal of the project. •Gathering of appropriate information (data) to fully understand the issue, performance benchmarks/criteria and solution alternatives. •Development of post implementation operation plans and management of handover to process owners •Manages and reports all financial aspects of the project including budgets •Directs and administers project related activities so as to ensure that projects are completed onetime, within internal and external quality/specification requirements. •Facilitates project closeout reporting and meetings. •Provides leadership to the project team. •Implements continuous improvement through Six Sigma quality Skills & experience: •Highly developed interpersonal skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills •Ability to develop strong working relationships with business unit managers while maintaining independence. •Experience in Project Management •Strong numeric skills: good understanding of finance. •Ability to work with minimal supervision and work on own initiative. •Good analytical thinking skills, planning and organising, results orientated and a team player are essential Competencies: Focus on Results •Strive to achieve all targets within the appropriate time-scales, prioritising tasks to meet business needs, managing time as effectively as possible GE Values Team work •Willing to identify and work with a ‘Buddy', sharing knowledge and experience.
