| The Role A leading UK defence organisation that provide support to humanitarian aid initiatives, global defence and government departments, around the world, around the clock is looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to complete their established team. General Responsibilities ·In charge of the day-to-day running of the Warehouse operation. ·Undertake and maintain goods inward inspection, storage, kitting, packing, dspatch, and delivery. ·To maintain an accurate stock inventory within the Warehouse. ·To improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Materials and Logistics task to ensure that materials arrive at their required location in good condition and the right time, presented in the right way. ·To ensure good safe working practices as laid down and enforced within the warehouse and other areas within their remit at all times. ·To support the Materials & Logistics Manager in supporting the company Mission, Values and Ethics. ·Liaise directly with supplier to resolve any issue that may arise e.g. shortfalls or damaged in transit goods. |
