| Our client is an independently owned contractor specialising in retail projects. They are currently seeking an Intermediate / Senior Planner to be based in their Kent office. This client is working on new build, refurbishment and extension projects for major shopping superstores. As an Intermediate / Senior Planner, you will be responsible for project schedules from inception through to completion. You will be joining a well established contractor that prides itself on client relationships, as a result they boast a 90% repeat business order book and turnover £200m per annum. The successful candidate will be working on projects ranging in value from £1m refurbishment schemes through to £50m new build schemes. The skills that are required by our client are as follows: - 3-5 years planning experience in the construction sector (candidates with less experience will also be considered) - Experience working as a planner on retail projects is an advantage - Must have a clear understanding of the construction process so candidates with site experience will have an advantage - Excellent communication skills are essential Our client is willing to offer the successful candidate the following salary: - £30,000-£50,000 per annum depending on experience - Car/car allowance - Health - Pension If you have an interest in discussing this role, please apply today.
