Job Vacancy Relationship Manager with Bond Search & Selection

Background on Role/Area:
To provide a highly responsive, personalised service to a customer portfolio, delivering a range of banking services in an efficient and cost-effective way and optimising cross selling and revenue opportunities.  Key elements of the role are on business development and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Achieves personal targets and business plan

Whilst serving existing customer needs, spots potential business opportunities and follows these through.  Follows through leads provided from other parts of Business Banking UK.

Implement a contact management programme for own portfolio to deliver effective Customer profiles, which ensure growth, retention and customer satisfaction objectives are meet.  Maximise the sales opportunities available from own portfolio by tailoring financial solutions to the needs of existing customers.

Act as focal point of contact for own portfolio providing an immediate response and delivering standard banking services, products, advice and solutions to ensure the needs of customers are met.  Manages client expectations to achieve satisfactory client relationships.

Takes accountability for level of discretion, if appropriate, and ensures full compliance with all internal credit management procedures for own portfolio.  Maintains acceptable credit and asset quality standards for own portfolio. Ensures all regulatory and operational risk requirements are meet for own portfolio.

Key Requirements:

Previous specialist corporate / commercial banking experience, with substantial involvement in corporate banking teams or, 3 years previous experience in retail or business banking.

Demonstrated evidence of Computer literacy - evidence of aptitude to use MS Office with working knowledge of Excel

Demonstrable experience in dealing with business customers

Proven ability to work as part of a team

Demonstrated excellent communication skills

Desirable-

3rd Level qualification in a business related discipline

Demonstrated understanding of compliance requirements for Corporate Banking.

Understanding of the banking credit policy and procedures

Demonstrated basic understanding of Banks products for business and corporate customers

Salary upto 35K plus excellent benefits package.
