Public Sector, Tender Manager, Government Director of Public Sector Banking is looking for a Public Sector Relationship Manager. One of the main goals of this new structure is to retain and attract Resources from existing and new Public Sector (government backed) relationships. The overall aim of this job is the retention and growth of the Public Sector Banking Resources Book primarily via high quality daily phone contact with key customers and by meeting new customers when necessary. This role will also involve playing a full part in the Tendering process for Public Sector Banking relationships both new and existing. Key Requirements (Essential) Public Sector Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills and the ability to deal with staff and the key decision makers within PSD relationships, at all levels. Strong negotiating skills and ability to operate in a fast moving environment. Make sound business decisions while recognising customer relationship value. Excellent understanding of developing and delivering a strong customer ethos Flexibility and adaptability with the ability to work in a multi skilled environment Basic PC skills - Word/Excel Applicants should possess the ability to take on responsibility and work on own initiative while delivering quality in a fast moving working environment Key Requirements (desirable): Public Sector Understanding of Interbank rates and effect on deposits Deposit product knowledge Supporting the Network in keeping the Bank as the leading Savings & Investment provider in the market. Negotiate deals on deposit rates outside set parameters, using sound business judgement. The ability to apply problem-solving skills to difficult situations and suggest acceptable/alternative solutions. Promote use of lead products within the Network to assist with sales and income working as part of a team, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure all activities are executed in accordance with the Bank's Audit, Legal and Compliance standards.
