The Responsibilities Reporting into the HR Manager although working autonomously supporting c350 employees within a highly technical division you will be responsible for building and maintaining high quality effective relationships with the client group business managers. The responsibilities of this position include: Report and participate at the management board meetings on HR issues and initiative progress as required Link the business plans and the HR plans to ensure a consistent approach supportive of the business strategy and delivery Support business initiatives as require, such as restructuring, change management, bidding and acquisitions Actively contribute to a programme of internal HR process improvement and development supporting the implementation of the initiatives Manage all day-to-day HR issues including disciplinary and grievances, absence management together with manpower and succession planning. The Professional Of graduate calibre and Grad CIPD qualified with proven experience of working within a head office environment supporting a team of highly technical engineers, you will have a sound generalist HR knowledge together with experience of working on strategic projects such as acquisitions, mergers and TUPE transfers. A strategic influencer who is flexible in their approach with proven experience of working within a large consultancy or technical engineering organisation who is comfortable with rapid change and has the ability to build strong relationships within this fast-paced leading organisation. This is will require candidates who are both experienced in multi site roles and flexible regarding travel.
