Our client is a leading manufacturer of speciality coated films for the medical, security, optical and printing industries. To maintain their continued growth and success they are now seeking to recruit an ambitious, self motivated Development Technologist. The successful candidate will be innovative and forward thinking, preferably with some background in new product development. Reporting to a Project Leader, you will be responsible for developing new product designs and implementing their scale up through to commercial production. As a good communicator and team player you will have a key role in helping direct cross functional project groups establish specifications with both prospective customers and suppliers. You will hold a degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Polymer or Material Science and will have experience within an industrial environment in a related field would be an advantage. The successful candidate will receive a competitive remuneration package, which includes pension and life assurance cover, private medical assurance, flexitime and 26 days annual holidays plus statutory holidays.
