| Network Support Engineer Bamber Bridge upto £40,000 d.o.e Salary Upon Experience + Excellent Benefits Package - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Directly Responsible to the Operations Manager Directly Responsible for Network Support Job Purpose To be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the network support projects and provide direct support for the core voice and data networks including business continuity planning. To be responsible for the technical support and administration of corporate Voice and Data Network projects. Corporate responsibilities o Assist in emergency planning arrangements and exercises where work will be required outside normal office hours o Liaise with user groups and project teams o Assist with the implementation and execution of corporate ICT policies and standards Desirable Skills / Experience Exposure to radio communications / telecommunications systems and networks Main Duties and Responsibilities o Design, configuration and support of the corporate voice and data networks in conjunction with the Wi4 Lead engineer o Operate full change control for all processes providing a comprehensive audit trail o Develop and maintain operational procedures and documentation for the Wi4 Lead engineer o Assist the Wi4 Lead engineer in the development of both technical strategies and new developments for the network infrastructure o Assist with the provision of test facilities for all corporate ICT systems within the Network Services environment o Assist the Wi4 Lead engineer with objective setting and monitoring of the Network Support system o Assist in the preparation of technical specifications for new network solutions o Assist with the installation of new network solutions o Liaise with network solution suppliers o Liaise with ICT system suppliers Cover Requirements To arrange and provide cover with the Wi4 Lead engineer / IT Manager Corporate responsibilities o Assist in emergency planning arrangements and exercises where work will be required outside normal office hours o Liaise with user groups and project teams o Assist with the implementation and execution of corporate ICT policies and standards Desirable Skills / Experience Exposure to radio communications systems and networks Salary & Package Upto £35,000 Upon Experience / Qualifications 28 Days Holiday On Site Parking Mobile Phone Company Laptop Superb Modern Environment Excellent opportunity to join one of the North-West most successful companys, which provide excellent career progression.
