| Reporting to the Head of Group Finance this high role position will be ideal for a Finance manager who enjoys challenging and reviewing the business platform within a large Shared Services environment of this global financial institute. The main function of the role is to significantly improve the depth of review and challenge on the core divisional financial data. Job Description: Your role within the team will be to ensure that •All Financial reports and disclosures are prepared on time, to provide supplementary analysis for the Group executive. These accounts extend to both the UK and US where an understanding of both UK and US regulations would be an advantage. •Monthly review and challenge of divisional spot and balance sheets, and statutory income statements, preparation of core reporting packs. •Prepare recurring balance sheet forecast, budget review and consolidation. The team are responsible for challenging the divisional h forecast / budgets at each collection point. •Quarterly review and challenge of core data disclosures and condensed supplementary data collection. •Responsible for updating / reviewing group Finance training packs and supporting corrections to data collection tools. •Support Group Asset and Liability Committee Technical & Qualifications •Professional accounting qualification •Knowledge of International Accounting standards •Experience in consolidated accounts •Financial services experience preferable but not essential •Confident communicator Interested contact Graham Noble at Badenoch and Clark.
