| Reporting to and working in partnership with the Programme manager this position is pivotal in the design of new Global Payables Process within a leading major financial client. Working with the change delivery functions optimising programme team this project role will require extensive liaison skills across a diverse range of businesses and functions ( internally and externally) and may likely require European travel. Key Requirements of role To provide design leadership and strategic direction to the project team Provide high level business and programme solution designs to meet desired outcomes. Design end to end solutions within the project Plan and manage large project through its entire life cycle, ensuring delivery on time and within cost and quality ensured. Provide specialist project design knowledge to support the project team shape the process and system development as well as be the escalation point for all issue resolution/risk May require external negotiation with suppliers to secure timely and cost effective outcomes for the project. To be the successful candidate you will have: • Well rounded Knowledge of Banking principles would be beneficial but will require detailed understanding of Payables processes. • Regarded as an expert in Process Design able to lead cross – divisional and cross – functional projects to re-engineer finance processes particularly in relation to Payables. • Have considerable experience in designing end to end solutions with technical , business and key stakeholders • Be considered an expert in change management both at senior and decision making level. • Exceptional analytical skills and ability to communicate at all levels across the business • Requirement to travel ( Europe) • A recognised formal qualification in Project Management The role holder will be a self starter, have great communication skills and a determination to see the project delivered to an outstanding resolution.
