| Internal Auditor 3 -6 Month contract (Edinburgh) Salary NEG Badenoch & Clark currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Internal Auditor to join their client in a busy Public Sector organisation based in central Edinburgh. Key responsibilities: Monitor the progress of each audit against the days allocated and suggest proposals for corrective action, where necessary, to be agreed with the Principal Internal Auditor or Chief Internal Auditor Prepare a draft internal audit report for each assignment undertaken giving a formal opinion on the area reviewed and which also provides a written record of points arising and associated recommendations to improve performance and/or control Ensure any outstanding management responses to draft internal audit reports are followed up Support the work of your colleagues in the Internal Audit Department.
