The Role: </P> ; The company is seeking an experienced Project Management professional with strong hardware infrastructure, project management and technical skills. - You must have experience leading large projects with groups of highly talented people.
- You should be business-minded, with a passion for the web and online media.
- You will also need to possess a solid understanding of software development processes to communicate effectively with the engineers and understand issues when they arise.
- Ideally, you will have worked in both large companies as well as startups.
- You must be able to run a project and work independently, while knowing when to raise issues and consult your peers.
- The company is in the midst of a large expansion, and its important that you understand how to work in a dynamic, changing environment to develop the right level of process and procedures.
- You must have the ability to understand and work with large, complex systems.
- Fluency in the English language is required, as is strong communication, organization, and planning skills.
Duties & Responsibilities: - Manage all infrastructure projects including data centre & office build outs, systems migrations and new systems implementations.
- Work closely with executives and stakeholders to understand priorities and business requirements to ensure that what is built satisfies those needs.
- Coordinate the activities from external third party providers
- Write detailed functional requirements documentation to convey design elements and interactions to third parties.
- Create, maintain and monitor schedules, and the timely delivery of projects.
- Coordination of the procurement process for all hardware and software elements in an infrastructure build or upgrade.
- Identify potential issues in advance and put plans in place to mitigate such risks.
- Be the voice of reason and be able to articulate issues and handle tradeoffs accordingly
Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- 3+ year's of experience as an Infrastructure Project Manager.
- Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment while maintaining excellent working relationships with people in a wide variety of functional areas.
- Strong understanding of IT Operations environments
- Experience and exposure to the following technologies: Windows Server, Linux, MS SQL Server, Cisco.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Ability to work well with other highly talented individuals
