Compliance Consultant

Overview :
Reporting directly to the Head of Operational Risk and Compliance , Ireland you will be tasked with developing a robust compliance culture and providing assurance to senior management that tight regulatory requirements are being met.

Key responsibilities :

• Assist management in developing and maintaining robust regulatory processes and procedures.
• Undertake compliance monitoring of all business areas.
• Provide compliance consultancy to all areas of the business, covering everyday queries, corporate projects and business initiatives.
• Assess compliance breaches and risks, recommend suitable remedial action and work with the business areas to ensure all issues are adequately resolved.     
• Analyse regulatory change and communicate with the relevant business areas.
• Assist in the production of management information and regulatory reports for senior members of staff and members of the local executive.

Requirements :

• Successful applicants will have at least 4 years experience from a compliance environment with a financial Services institution preferably from Fund Services or Life Assurance/Pensions sector.
• Strong compliance awareness and knowledge of both UK and Irish regulations being a must.
• Our client will be looking for those with acute communication skills , strong presentation and influencing skills are essential
