Experienced Corporate Finance Professional- Energy Sector

Our Client is an entrepreneurial entity with a proven record in the fast growing and highly profitable Energy sector.  Due to ambitious growth plans, Our Client now seeks to recruit a Corporate Finance Professional.  This role offers excellent career progression opportunities.

Corporate Finance Professional

This role involves working as part of Our Client's Corporate Finance team which is an integral function of Our Client's business.
  
The Corporate Finance function has responsibility for investment appraisal activities, acquisition of assets and companies, managing and sourcing short and long-term debt facilities and supporting business development in new markets.  This role will report to the Manager of Corporate Finance.

The ideal candidate will have previous corporate finance experience.  Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills are essential. 

The successful candidate will be supported to develop the required skills to meet this demanding role.

Principal responsibilities will include:

  • Financial modelling and evaluation of investment opportunities and preparing investment papers to submit to the Board.
  • Preparing and presenting project finance model to project finance banks.
  • Evaluating acquisition opportunities of potential target companies throughout Europe.
  • Working with the project team to perform due diligence on potential acquisitions focusing on commercial, financial and operational due diligence of target companies.
  • Working with legal advisors on the completion of acquisition deals / project finance.
  • Interacting with internal departments, advisers, bankers and management teams.
  • Provide strategic, commercial, business, financial and management assessment support.
  • Ad hoc projects and duties.

The successful candidates will:

  • Excellent project execution skills.
  • Capacity to deliver high quality work on a consistent basis.
  • Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative.
  • Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications, in particular Microsoft Excel.
  • High standard of presentation skills in all communications.
  • Team player.
  • Interest and awareness of current political, environmental and business issues.
