| Overview: A new role has been created within one of our top social housing clients to continue the development of their long-term customer service strategy. Based within a busy, vibrant and growing Maintenance Team, you will be working alongside determined and pro-active colleagues to assist the organisation turn over void properties in a timely and efficient manner. Job Description: When successful, you will be required to oversee the day-to-day void maintenance service in order to maintain and develop the quality service delivery. To achieve this, you will have to co-ordinate and monitor void properties (i.e. varied and numerous site visits throughout the Lothians to assess required repairs/structural issues when tenants leave the property), organised and co-ordinate subcontractors and job-priorities, and undertake a range of tenant and client liaison. You will be the central point of contact for all other staff with regards to Voids, and will take responsibility for managing property turnarounds as well as conducting post inspections of completed works. Your specific areas of responsibility are as follows: Experience: You must come from a social housing, surveying or commercial property background and have experience of overseeing external contractors, surveying properties (aesthetic and structural), and understanding the budgetary requirements of a public sector body.
