| We have several opportunities for Qualified and QBE accountants to join this leading stable Financial Institute , with positions available in several divisions from Investments to Finance Operations. There are key criteria to joining the company in the capacity of Financial Analyst. Prospective applicants must demonstrate an understanding of financial control, and have experience in preparing and reconciling accounts in a Financial Services environment. This position will suit a candidate who works within an accounts department of a large company or Financial institute and will offer the candidate an opportunity to work within a leading Financial market leader. Responsibilities: •Month End reporting •Internal issue log maintenance •Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Substantiation •Quarterly and Monthly Financial Submissions •1st Level review of P&L ,budgets/forecasts, KPi's •Ad hoc reporting •Review and challenge of reports Technical requirements of the role: •Qualified /Part Qualified/ QBE accountant •Knowledge of Statutory Accounting •Develop collaborative working relationship with stakeholders •Practical experience of working within a Finance environment working to month end deadlines •Ideally with Financial Services or Banking experience. •Proficiency in MS Excel, Access, UKBMIS •Knowledge of Business Objects and Walker General a distinct advantage though not essential •Ability to supervise/manage small teams ( applies to cerain roles only) •Basel II ( applies to certain roles only) •Able to build relationships with Stakeholders and other divisions.
