| A large RSL within the Central Belt of Scotland is currently looking for a Maintenance Officer for a long term temporary role. The work will cover an area around Falkirk and may require some travel across to Edinburgh and Glasgow and outlying areas in the central belt. Duties include: Carrying out pre- and post- inspections on all the properties, Developing repairs and estate management policies, Carrying out reactive maintenance and ensuring quick resolution of tenant issues, Monitoring and reporting on contractors performance, Inspecting repairs, Processing repair orders in line with company procedures, Assisting the Housing Officers in surveying and inspecting properties, Carrying out post inspection of reactive repair jobs within agreed timescales, Void management within target timescales, Responsibility for stage 3 medical adaptations. The salary will depend on experience but be between £12 and £17 per hour. You will be required to work a 35 hour week on a flexi-time basis.
