Job Vacancy Trainee Managers Leinster with Excel Recruitment

Our client is Large Non-Food retailer with stores throughout the country. The company is a family owned Irish business which continues to grow and develop with a number of new stores opening over the last 4 - 5 years.  They are now seeking to recruit Trainee Managers for their stores in the Leinster area. You will be required to be flexible to a number of their stores.  The company is well established and has excellent structures for training and development of their managers.

The following are the key areas of responsibility of a Trainee Manager:

• Staff Management: - assisting the Store Manager with managing all staff issues including staff training and the rota.
• Administration - assisting the Store Manager in the management of all cash including till lifts, banking, floats, invoice certification, collation and presentation of records for Head Office.
• Customer Service - monitoring and improving service standards, complaint management, till procedures, telephone answering.
• Store Management - monitoring the overall store to ensure high standards of signage, general housekeeping and hygiene, health & safety, security and store maintenance.
• Merchandise - supporting stock management, stock ordering, stock levels, stock merchandising, product displays to ensure that Company Policy is maintained.

The ideal candidate for this position must have at least 6 months to a years retail supervisory or management experience and also hold a thrid level degree.
