Key Responsibilities: Day to Day running of Delicatessen

• To be accountable for your own personal development and to be proactive in seeking opportunities for your development
• To actively participate in all training and development initiatives, and performance assessments
• To ensure all staff merchandise to the highest standards at all times
• To ensure presentation of shop is to the highest standards at all times
• To ensure hygiene standards are maintained as per agreed procedures
• To ensure all staff members wear uniforms correctly at all times
• To ensure closing down procedures are carried out efficiently and effectively in department
• To control fresh food areas as agreed with store management
• To familiarise yourself with all aspects of supply procedures - ordering, delivery procedures, stock rotation and control procedures
• To attend staff meetings
• To ensure the highest standard of Customer service is given to all customers
• To comply with all company rules, policies and procedures
• To familiarise yourself and comply with all Health & Safety Regulations as they pertain to the store and report any breaches of such to management promptly
• To perform any other duties as may be directed by management from time to time

Skills & Experience: You will have previous experience in fresh food management or supervision, with a passion for food retailing or wholesaling, a people person with a commercial edge and a desire to drive your own business category forward. Ambitious, not only for yourself but for your company
