| Senior Estimator - Lancashire Our client is a medium sized construction company with over fifty years experience and a good reputation for quality construction and reliability. Work is sourced mainly on recommendation or repeat business. Contracts undertaken range from traditional contacts, design and build contracts, new build, shopfitting and joinery projects together with a wide range of refurbishment contracts. The Role: Senior Estimator We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self motivated Senior Estimator to run the estimating department within the company, based from the Lancashire office. The Company has now been in business for over fifty years and although the successful applicant will be directly responsible to the Managing Director, they will be part of a dynamic management team, which it is intended will take the company forward, where if suitable, they will be given the opportunity to progress further within the company. The applicant will be responsible for all aspects of Estimating including the following; "Procuring new contracts "Estimating/Tendering for new contracts "Dealing with contract documentation "Liaising with Architects/ Clients regarding contract and design details "Attendance on site for meetings with sub-contractors and Clients "Purchasing for acquired contracts "Appointment of sub-contractors and management of their valuations/accounts "Cost budgeting "Development of new management procedures The successful Senior Estimator should be computer literate and should have a good knowledge of Building Regulations and construction details. The Salary: Senior Estimator Salary: c£50K - £55K dependent on experience. An excellent benefits package will be provided for the suitable applicant, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
