| Senior Site Engineer - Main Contractor - Manchester Due to regional expansion position has arisen within a North West Contractor for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to work on a variety of Commercial and Industrial projects based throughout the North West covering Lancashire, Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire regions. Working alongside a Site Manager and responsible for a team of between thirty to a hundred people, the Senior Site Engineer will be reporting to the Site Manager. Over seeing works with the highest standards of quality control and health and safety you will be mainly responsible for setting out and design co-ordination. You will be required to check both your own and others setting out and have an astute eye for detail and be able to recognize mistakes before they become an issue. A long established company within its region; my client works across a diverse range of sectors and is renowned for its commitment to working ethically and understanding the requirements of the client. The ideal Senior Site Engineer will have proven experience of working within a similar role and ideally from a national or regional contractor. You should also have experience of working on a variety of commercial and industrial projects and will have wide knowledge of construction. From a trade or engineering background this person must be enthusiastic, demonstrate competence and be able to motivate a team to achieve results.
