| Contracts Manager - Main Contractor - Merseyside My client now seeks an experienced Contracts Manager to head up a project based in the North West of England. Reporting to the Senior Contracts Manager you will be responsible for the whole site including a Site Manager, two Engineers, a General Foreperson and a team of Trades and Labour. The ideal person will be from a similar background and be experienced and competent within a similar role. Preferably from a trades or engineering background they must also have an expert knowledge of the construction processes and regard Health and Safety with the most importance. A long established company within its region; my client works across a diverse range of sectors and is renowned for its commitment to working ethically and understanding the requirements of the client. With an annual turnover in excess of £250M, this is an opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a company that offers on going training and opportunities to progress your career. The ideal Contracts Manager will have experience of working on a variety of commercial and industrial projects and will have wide knowledge of construction preferably from a main contractor background. Educated in trades or engineering, the Contracts Manager must be enthusiastic, demonstrate competence and be able to motivate a team to achieve results. CSCS and First Aid tickets are essential.
