| Senior Contracts Manager - Construction - Lancashire My client, a medium sized Building and Civil Engineering Contractor, is currently looking to employ an accomplished Senior Contracts Manager to join its busy team in Lancashire. The company is well-respected in the industry with a large amount of repeat business and notoriety for delivering high quality construction projects to its Clients across the North West of England. With a large project portfolio either under construction or at planning stage for next year, the company is in need of a highly experienced Senior Contracts Manager, a construction professional to manage a number of multi million pound Design and Build and traditionally procured contracts. These projects will typically be university buildings, schools, colleges and various healthcare schemes. Please note that experience in either the Healthcare or Education sectors would be particularly advantageous for this role. With a background in Contracts Management you will be visiting sites across Lancashire, Manchester and Merseyside, ensuring works are being carried out to a high specification and are completed on time. An effective communicator, you will perform well under pressure and feel at ease in a client-facing role. The ability to analyse and resolve problems quickly and efficiently is paramount as is a good understanding of budgetary control. Technical competence and sound construction knowledge is not enough for this role. My client is particularly keen to secure the services of someone who can demonstrate ambition, drive and determination and a strong personality to boot! This role will provide constant challenges and it is therefore essential that you feel capable of working under pressure and consistently delivering.
