| Divisional Accountant - Lurgan My client is a leading subsiduary of an International Plc. Based within the manufacturing industry they are a growing company with a well established client base. They are currently recruiting for a commercially minded Accountant. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller the responsibilities of the role include; - Management of monthly, maintenance of financial records to a high standard and timely preparation of monthly management accounts - Reporting monthly divisional reports to strict deadlines - Preparation of annual financial accounts including stock valuations, reconciliations and preparation of the audit file - Liaison with and reporting to the parent company on an ad hoc basis - Preparation and filing of HMRC, intrastat and other statutory returns - Maintenance of the fixed asset register - Assistance with the implementation of new IT and administration procedures The successful candidate will be a commercially minded Accountant who ideally has gained their experience within the manufacturing environment. Enthusiasm and excellent interpersonal skills should be coupled with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to communicate financial information to non financial people. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant to develop commercial experience in a plc organisation.
