| Reservations Manager Specialist Ski accommodation only company requires a Reservations Manager For their London Office. To sell ski holidays (catered and self catered) and seasonal accommodation, by telephone, email and web and to process and manage bookings and associated paperwork & payments from first point of contact to day of travel. Must be French Speaking! Reservation Managers principal elements and responsibilities: * To sell ski holidays via telephone/email and internet requests. * To process booking paperwork once a booking has been made. * To secure & monitor payment for each booking as set out in our terms and conditions. * The reservations manager will be responsible for booking taxis, ski school, restaurants, as requested by clients. * To reconcile payments with our Accounts Dept. making you responsible for all payments due on a weekly basis. * Reservations manager will produce weekly sales figures every Friday night. * To update ‘owner spreadsheets' once a month in the season giving a summary of all bookings made against their property for Debbie to do owner payments. * Reservations manager will control and manage the planning that is updated every Friday evening and supplied to all agents Monday mornings. * To produce end of season reports to include source codes, nationality, revenue, Occupancy per property etc.. * To update the client database in the summer. * Reservations manager will bank any UK cheques at our Barclays account in Islington * To perform other duties as the management may from time to time reasonably require. Reservation managers requirements: * You must be a skier * Proven track record in the sales environment. * Knowledge of the ski industry would be useful * Strong people & communication skills * Ability to work under pressure as the phone line gets busy. * Organized and methodical for paperwork purposes. * Trustworthy as you will be working alone in a small office environment. * Knowledge of spoken & written French. * Self-motivated, upbeat personality. Reservations Manager Salary: £24,000 per annum Benefits: annual trip to France |
