| O&B Recruitment part of the O'Neill & Brennan Group are currently hiring for a Senior Test Engineer for our client based in Limerick Reporting to the Product Development Manager your primary function will be responsibility for the management of a Test laboratory. Responsibilities: *Manage and direct the activities of the Test Laboratory. *Work with Product Development, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Engineering in the development of test methods and test protocols for product and or process testing. *Specify and develop custom equipment necessary for product test requirements. *Execute testing to test protocols and generate reports based on this testing. *Maintain knowledge and develop additional expertise in standards associated with medical device product testing. *Active & proactive communication with sister companies to use established global test methods where applicable. *Work in a tightly regulated environment regarding quality procedures and regulatory requirements. Qualifications *Third level degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar Engineering discipline. *At least five years work experience preferably in the medical device industry. *Previous supervisory experience is advantageous. *Experience in ISO 17025 .
