An excellent opportunity for an ambitious AAT Qualified or Part ACCA to join this is established team as Financial Accountant. The key aspects of the role will cover: •Project Accounting - reviewing contracts, profit & loss reports, fixed assets, variance analysis on projects, understanding of working progress •Group reporting - various KPI reports from Head Office •Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual finance returns to Head Office •Month-end journals •Review of debtors and income This is an excellent role for a individual to develop their technical accounting skills as the role will involve investigating various aspects of on-going projects. A background in manufacturing or construction would be a benefit but not essential however a confident approach to produce accurate financial reports is essential. The successful candidate will have: •AAT Qualified or CIMA part-qualified •Experienced in project accounting - variances, costs vs budgets etc •Proven experience in financial accounting Badenoch & Clark is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy. |
