| Software Development Officer - Dublin We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to help deliver products and services to the next generation of mobile devices. We are leading the design and implementation of the software plus services vision that will be delivered to billions of mobile users. You will be responsible for developing using such technologies as Silverlight, Javascript, ASP.NET, AJAX and working to develop new offline controls in the cutting edge Windows Mobile environment using these technologies. To be successful in this role you should be proficient with .Net and C#. We use agile programming methodologies and test-driven development to deliver a high-quality platform at a rapid pace, deploying releases as often as once per 2 weeks. Key requirements: - At least 3 years of relevant product development experience. - Strong object-oriented programming skills in at least one of the following languages: C++, C#, or Java . - Awesome out of the box problem solving skills are essential. - Energy and desire to deliver high-quality software on aggressive schedules. - Strong English-language verbal and written communication skills. - Experience with one or more web technologies like Javascript, ASP.NET, Silverlight and AJAX is a big plus. - Good knowledge of C# and .NET is a plus - Experience in application development for mobile environment is a plus - Good knowledge of SQL and databases is a plus. - Strong proficiency in designing and developing highly optimized web applications and/or web services is a plus. - BS CS degree or equivalent required (MS/PhD would be a plus). - Experience with agile development methodologies would be a plus.
