| Project Planning Engineer / Design Planner A major architectural consultancy currently seeks a Planner/ Planning Engineer to be based from their office in Central London. This opportunity is rare in that the successful candidate will be the first planning employee/ Planning Engineer within the project department (in the UK). My client are a well-established multinationaly architectural practice with offices across 5 continents. Their primary focus has been commercial projects, but they have recently delved into broader areas. Previous projects have included high rise towers, heritage schemes, fit out & interior design, etc. Due to continued growth in the UK, my client are seeking to take on the primary Planner/ Planning Engineer for their London office. Working within the project team, your responsibilities will include: - Prepare project programmes. - Liaise with consultants to monitor and update progress. - Progress reporting to senior management and clients. - Project milestones, work breakdown structures, etc. Ideally for this Planning Engineer role, the successful candidate will have the following experience: - Previous planning experience, ideall within a design background (although not essential). - Proficiency with PowerProject software would be a distinct advantage. - Strong communicator and team player. - Eligible to work in the UK.
