Transfer Pricing Analyst - City Centre Our client is a leading provider of Professional Services across the globe. Due to the ongoing level of business being transacted on a global basis, their specialist Transfer Pricing unit are experiencing a period of rapid growth and demand for their services. The Transfer Pricing unit strive to help companies compete effectively within the global marketplace by addressing complexities that arise from doing business around the world. Due to this ongoing success, they are currently seeking to recruit a high calibre Analyst to join their existing team of professionals. Reporting directly to the Director, this is a unique and exciting opportunity to join a world leading firm. Role - Assist in compiling and reviewing transfer pricing analysis methods and practices and developing communications and training around best practices.
- Research regulations and case-law and relate to economic principles.
- Assist in writing articles and preparing presentations and training material on transfer pricing and related topics.
- Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures for transfer pricing work.
- Assist in delivering transfer pricing projects
- Prepare and analyse financial and economic data for tax and regulatory compliance through the use of MS Word, Excel and various statistical sampling packages
- Research comparable publicly traded companies
- Research the economics of particular industries
Requirements - One year of experience with advisory related projects, ideally in transfer pricing, with an audit, tax and/or advisory firm, or government economic analysis positions.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: transfer pricing studies, financial statement analysis, valuations, quantitative and competitive analysis, statistical sampling and econometrics, plan evaluation, and/or operational performance analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, solid research skills and the ability to work well in a team environment and/or independently
- A degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Mathematics or Statistics from an accredited college/university
