| Job Title: Marketing Manager Location: Middlesex Salary: £50k to £60k A leading specialist business providing innovative system and product solutions for defence/maritime applications worldwide are looking for a Marketing Manager to assist in winning new business and to increase the number of opportunities for the future. Your experience of the maritime/submarine market will be key in succeeding. The role: As the Marketing Manager you’ll be responsible for coordinating and delivering proposals to customers, working in conjunction with overseas contacts as needed. Assisting in defining the company’s strategic plan and generating marketing strategies, executing tactical action plans in support of the growth objectives. You’ll be required to carry out company presentations, develop and confirm the business case for tendering and to carry out the preliminary work necessary to capture the programmes concerned. Duties to involve: - Marketing strategy for security and surveillance products / Anti submarine warfare or Maritime products - Leadership of teams for bid and proposal delivery - Research, understand and mitigate competitor positions - Promote capability and products at exhibitions, conferences and stakeholder groups - Identify the development of products/technologies to satisfy new customer requirements Required Skills: You’ll possess an excellent knowledge of the Maritime/Anti-Submarine Warfare market, both UK and internationally. Excellent communication skills; verbal, written and presentational will be required along with a tenacious, energetic and desire for demonstrable success.
