Job Vacancy QUALITY ENGINEER - HEALTHCARE with Sigmar Recruitment

MY CLIENT A LEADING HEALTHCARE COMPANY IN CORK REQUIRES A QUALITY ENGINEER - 6 MONTH CONTRACT WITH 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE IDEALLY WITHIN THE MEDICAL DEVICE/PHARMA BACKGROUND.

On a daily basis you will be required to demonstrate your strong quality engineering expertise, your knowledge of FDA and cGMP validation requirements, your strength in statistical analysis and problem solving; your flexible and adaptable approach, excellent interpersonal skills, and your fit within an environment where ownership of results and adherence to standards and procedures is routine.

Key responsibilities include:
• Perform and support process and yield investigations on-time, within budget and to meet Quality and Business requirements..
• Perform process improvement studies, complete process validations and risk management to improve the quality rates and cycle times.
• Knowledge of statistics to assist with validation developments and process improvements.
• Adhere to all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.

Candidates should have:
• Degree in a Technical discipline.
• At least 5 years' work experience in a technical role, ideally in Quality.
• Demonstrable knowledge of FDA, medical device, cGMP and validation requirements.
• Working knowledge of statistical analysis.
• Excellent communication and skills - written, oral and PC.

Salary: 40-50K
