SIX SIGMA BLACK BELT - PROGRAM MANAGER

A LEADING HEALTHCARE COMPANY IN THE MIDLANDS REQUIRES AN EXPERIENCED SIX SIGMA BLACK BELT - PROGRAM MANAGER, IDEALLY FROM A MEDICAL DEVICE BACKGROUND. 

• The Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects including development of project scope, goals, work plans, timelines and implementation strategies.  The Project Manager is responsible for budgets and resources to ensure successful and timely completion of projects.
• Provide six sigma and lean expertise to all areas of the facility.  Use Six Sigma toolset for effective problem solving.  Execute on lean events and six sigma projects.
• When requested, provide expert advice and training for personnel on lean and six sigma tools and techniques.
• Coach and mentor project managers, green belts and black belts.

• Basic Qualifications:

• B achelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field

  Minimum five (5) years of experience in manufacturing operations

  Minimum two (2) years of Process Improvement / project experience

  Minimum eight (8) total years in a professional role

  Six Sigma certification - green belt minimum

  Experience in plant layout, evaluation of process capabilities, and systems design

  Must have completed at least 3 significant projects and conducted at least 3 kaizen events

  Other Qualifications

  Six sigma black-belt certification preferred

  PMI or equivalent certification preferred.

  Experience with medical devices a plus.
